Food safety knowledge, food shopping attitude and safety kitchen practices among Romanian consumers: A structural modelling approach

This paper aimed to establish the relationship between food safety knowledge, shopping attitude, and self-reported kitchen practices among Romanian consumers. The study used data collected in an online survey applied on 985 A attitude practice (KAP) model by structural equation modelling revealed significant correlations knowledge (r = 0.36; p < 0.001). Also, depicted effects (? 0.17, 0.001; ? 0.47, 0.001) explained 30% of variance These findings suggest that higher levels than current ones could conduct improved towards priorities incline consumers adopt adequate during purchasing shops manipulation their kitchens. Case-studies from real life situations (an observational including 15 households) support this urge interventions improve consumers’ at home.
